Under-inflated tires cause unnecessary stress and wear to your tires, decreased gas mileage, and can cause loss of control of a vehicle. In fact, improper inflation is a leading cause of tire failure while driving. According to recent studies, nearly half of all vehicles on the road have at least one under-inflated tire; and tire inflation is blamed for hundreds of accidents each year.

    Improves Gas Mileage: You can improve your gas mileage by around 3.3 percent by keeping your tires inflated to the proper pressure. Under-inflated tires lower gas mileage by 0.4 percent for every 1 psi drop in pressure of all four tires. Improves Tire Wear: Just a 10 percent under-inflation will shorten tread life by nine to 16 percent. If an average tire price of $250 is used, this under-inflation costs about $25 per tire. Properly inflated tires are safer and last longer.
Tire Alert automatically monitors tire pressure and indicators are ACCURATE within 1 psi. Complete kit includes four Tire Alert pressure indicators, lock nuts and wrench to stop theft. Easy to read pressure indicator:
  • All green indicates the tire is properly inflated
  • Yellow appears when tire pressure is low (approx. 4 lbs)
  • Red appears when tire pressure is extremely low (approx. 8 lbs) Directions for Installation:
  • Remove existing valve stem cap.
  • Place the jam nut on valve stem and thread down.
  • Place the Tire Alert Pressure Indicator on valve stem and thread down until tight.
  • Thread jam nut up against the Tire Alert Pressure Indicaitor firmly. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. Choosing the right Tire Alert pressure: Be sure to choose the Tire Alert Pressure Indicator to match the pressure as reccommended by the vehicle manufacturer (not the tire). This information can be found in the instruction manual or on the front door jams of the vehicle. Includes a one year limited warranty!
